Introduction To New Honda Civic 2017.

The smaller one is a 1.0-liter Vtec turbo gasoline engine with 3 cylinders. In the six-speed manual gearbox, the maximum torque is 200 Newtonmeter and the Cvt transmission is 180 Newtonmeter. The engine produces 129 hp. The 1.5-liter Vtec turbo four-cylinder comes at 182 hp. The six-speed manual transmission delivers a torque of 240 Newtonmeter, the Cvt transmission 220 Newtonmeter.

HONDA CIVIC COMES IN THE TENTH GENERATION IN 2017

Two engines in the Civic five-door

The Honda Civic five-door is equipped with two newly developed VTEC engines. In addition to the 182-hp four-cylinder turbo from the saloon, customers can also choose a single-liter three-cylinder engine that delivers torque by 129 hp and up to 200 Nm. Both engines are optionally available with a six-speed manual transmission or the known CVT transmission. The continuously variable transmission swallows in both cases 20 Nm of torque, so that the small three-cylinder 180 Nm and the four-cylinder making 220 Nm. The performance of the new engines does not tell Honda yet.
